Did anyone bother to ask for directions?
This I would have to say is one of those pages that ended up completely different then how I had first envisioned it but I can’t say I’m disappointed in it either. The main thing I’m talking about is the background. Usually I try to look up pictures so I can create something that sort of looks like it’s plausible. This time around my printer was down, (and before you ask I don’t like looking at a computer screen while I’m drawing, it hunches my back and hurts my eyes, so I usually print out what I’m working with and sit somewhere more comfortable, preferably somewhere in the lazy-boy closer to the TV.) So since I couldn’t print something off I decided to try and come up with something out of my imagination. It still looks a little odd to me but not as bad as some of the other backgrounds I’ve come up with. Though I still can’t draw water worth much.
I have a pink ranger, the parody is now complete X3.Actully I wasn’t really planing on it all I know is I have six soldiers and so far I’ve only shown you close up on four of them. I knew I had to start bringing the others forward or people were going to start thinking there were only the four. (Six just seems like a healthier number to me.) Anyway as I was drawing this new one he just keep getting more and more girly on me so I just decided “forget it, you’re a girl now.” I will say though I love her hair. Seriously I usually have a terrible time rendering hair but her’s came together perfectly
Then we get to Joanna, whose eyes are cross-eyed. They were fine when I was working on it in large scale but as soon as shrunk it down to fit the page they crossed on me. I don’t know maybe she’s in shock from Max being all serious. Oh Well.

The comic just looks lovelier and lovelier, Carman. I’m sorry I haven’t done any editing; I’ve been busy with assignments. I should be doing an assignment now, actually…^^; Keep up the awesome work! I’ll make sure to get your editing done over Christmas break; I’ll have three weeks of nothing, haha!

yea in the bigger vertion there was some space beside it (though not as big and the blue one’s) but when I shrunk it down I think it kind of blended in with the yellow. I’m glad not to be in the 5000s too. Moving it to the front page defently helped thanks for the sujestion

Yeah, Jo’s eyes crossed on you. Stuff like that happenes sometimes when you mess with the sizes. The background did turn out plausible, if not nessicarily like anything I can think of off the top of my head. The water turned out decent if not dazzling, but all things with time and practice. The soilder in the background looks a little odd, but I don’t know quite why. As for the printing stuff out to work with, I do the exact same thing. Just nicer to be able to be comfy when you’re drawing. Also, quick question for you, Dee wants to know if they celebrate christmas in New Dawn? Or something similar? -K

See that I haven’t really desided yet. I mean I do do pics for the hollidays myself (for example I draw halloween pics just cause I like putting my character in different costumse not cause they do or do not celebrate Halloween) but as far as Dawn goes I didn’t really want to focse on one relegoin in pertular. Dawn is sapose to be a sanuchary for all. I sapose if anything they would celebrate winter culstis (spelling?) It would be a big village indoor feast with tons of dancing and games being played. Maybe special treats for some of the kids. The vilage itself would be decorated in some sort of loumansent winter plants or maybe rocks that give off a kind of glow at night almost like the starts came down to earth. that sort of thing I think

There are phosporestent rocks that glow in the dark. Those could work pretty good. And I think celebrating the winter solstice sounds like a pretty good, new dawn type thing. I’ll let dee know what you’re thinking.

Of course you do, after all, you can put whatever you want in New Dawn, it’s your world. But I just thought you might want some references. So I have sent you some examples of phosporescent rocks and glow in the dark plants via E-mail. Hope they give you some ideas -K

Yea Jo’s eyes do look alittle crossed but i though it was her waking up at first. love the page. the red haired guy (girl?) lookes like he has my hair cut lol.
